Integra Global was founded in 1999 with a clear purpose: to provide flexible, personal and internationally focused health insurance solutions for people whose lives did not always fit neatly within traditional insurance models.
From its beginnings in the United Kingdom, the company developed specialist expertise in international private medical insurance, supporting individuals, families and businesses around the world.

Throughout the following decade, Integra Global expanded its international reach and developed a strong reputation within the international health insurance market.
The business specialised in supporting expatriates, internationally mobile individuals and companies requiring flexible health insurance solutions. Over time, the company built long-standing relationships with insurers, reinsurers, medical administrators, healthcare providers and professional insurance brokers.
What began as a specialist international health insurance business developed into an organisation with extensive experience across multiple markets and jurisdictions.

As international mobility increased, Integra Global continued to develop its products, partnerships and geographical reach.
The business established operations and capabilities across the United Kingdom and Europe while developing an increasingly important presence in the Middle East.
The UAE and wider Gulf region became a significant part of the company’s future direction. The market combined a highly international population with a rapidly developing healthcare system and a growing need for locally compliant health insurance solutions.
This period laid the foundations for the business we are today.

As the company’s strategy evolved, the business entered a new phase under the name Viventa Health.
The change represented more than a new name. It reflected a strategic transition from a traditional international health insurance business towards a specialist health business focused increasingly on locally admitted solutions in the UAE and the wider GCC.
The company’s history and experience remained firmly rooted in Integra Global, but its future direction was becoming increasingly clear. Viventa Health would build on more than two decades of international health insurance experience while developing propositions specifically designed for the markets and communities it served.

In 2024, the company faced one of the most significant moments in its history when its previous owner, Philip Catterton, sadly passed away.
Following Philip’s death, and at the request of his widow, the company was entrusted to new ownership and management.
The responsibility was clear: to protect the business that Philip had built, support its people and partners, and create a sustainable future for the company.
The new management team continues to lead the business today. While Viventa Health has changed significantly since 2024, the company continues to be run with respect for its history and in memory of Philip and the foundations he helped to establish.
Rather than standing still, the decision was taken to build on that legacy.

New partnerships were established, the portfolio grew substantially and the business strengthened its capabilities across product development, underwriting, distribution, medical administration and member support.
This growth represented an important milestone. More than 25 years after the company was founded, the business had successfully evolved from its international roots into a growing UAE-focused health insurance specialist.
The year demonstrated both the strength of the company’s heritage and the potential of its future.

This next generation of Viventa Health reflects what we have learned over more than 25 years, combined with a clearer understanding of what employers, members and partners need from a modern health business.
Our future is focused on more than insurance alone. We are developing a proposition built around better access to healthcare, greater use of technology and data, stronger member engagement, prevention, telemedicine and practical support that helps people navigate their health more effectively.
